The Option Pulse tracks shifts in equity-option activity to show where market attention is flowing day to day.
⚙️ How It Works
A small backend script fetches daily option data from the Massive API, filters out noise, and writes a compact JSON snapshot to the site’s data folder (public/data/stock_pulse.json).
The front end visualises this snapshot in the chart above, highlighting the tickers with the highest traded volume.
💡 Why It Matters
Options flow can often be an early sign of sentiment shifts.
Large changes in call or put volume can hint at positioning that precedes directional moves in the underlying stock.
This tool captures those inflection points visually – helping spot emerging themes before they surface in broader market data.
