Mindset + Productivity

The Science of Self-Discipline (10/10) Tips and actionable advice to delay gratification and stop you in your tracks if you are tempted to give in to temptation. Short book, very easy and enjoyable read. 200 pages.

15 Secrets Successful People Know About Time Management (10/10) Identify the tasks that are most fundamental to achieving your goals and schedule time for them every day. The morning is the most valuable part of the day; Ritualize it, and spend that time on important tasks before distraction creeps in.

Atomic Habits by James Clear (10/10) Great book. Covers most of what other willpower/habit books do but more succinctly and to the point. Really helpful book.

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill (8/10) - The message in this book is one of desire. In order to become rich, you must be obsessed with it, and spend a lot of time thinking about it. Use autosuggestion to hijack your subconscious mind.

Solving the Procrastination Puzzle (7/10) - The author kept this one short to allow procrastinators to finish it in one sitting. Great information, would recommend.

Willpower - Rediscovering the Greatest Human Strength (6/10) Easy read and a fine book, but spent a lot of time talking about studies rather than actionable advice. Takeaway: Willpower is a finite resource. Use it carefully.

Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod (6/10) Decent book. Easy read. Similar to Atomic Habits and other self help books.
